ultimate smores board - featured image

A fun and easy s’mores board featuring assorted flavored marshmallows and a variety of dipping sauces, perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in.

Ingredients

  • Graham crackers (classic, broken into squares)
  • Assorted flavored marshmallows (vanilla bean, cinnamon, toasted coconut, peppermint)
  • Milk chocolate squares (Lindt or Ghirardelli recommended)
  • Salted caramel sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • Raspberry coulis (fresh or frozen raspberries pureed with sugar and lemon juice)
  • Chocolate ganache (heavy cream and dark chocolate)
  • Optional add-ons: crushed nuts (toasted almonds or pecans), sea salt flakes, fresh berries (strawberries or blueberries), mini pretzels

Instructions

  1. Arrange your board by laying out the graham crackers in small stacks or scattered piles for easy grabbing (2–3 minutes).
  2. Place assorted flavored marshmallows in a separate section; set up a torch or broiler station nearby if toasting (1–2 minutes).
  3. Make the dipping sauces: heat ½ cup (120 ml) heavy cream until steaming, pour over 4 ounces (115 g) chopped dark chocolate, let sit 2 minutes, then stir until smooth for ganache; blend 1 cup (150 g) raspberries with 1 tablespoon (12 g) sugar and lemon juice for coulis; warm salted caramel gently if pre-made.
  4. Spoon each sauce into small bowls or ramekins and place alongside crackers and marshmallows (about 5 minutes).
  5. Toast marshmallows over a small flame, broiler, or torch just before serving, watching carefully to avoid burning (2–3 minutes per batch).
  6. Assemble s’mores by starting with a graham cracker, adding a toasted flavored marshmallow, a piece of chocolate, then another cracker on top; dip into sauces and add optional toppings as desired.
  7. Enjoy and share the s’mores with friends and family.

Notes

Toast marshmallows in small batches to keep them warm and gooey. Use gentle heat when melting chocolate ganache to avoid seizing. Keep crackers separate from sauces until serving to prevent sogginess. Sauces can be made ahead and stored in the fridge.
