A fun and indulgent layered milkshake tower featuring creamy vanilla ice cream, crushed Oreos, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup. Perfect for celebrations or a comforting solo treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups (about 675g) good-quality vanilla ice cream
  • 20 whole Oreo cookies (about 300g), divided
  • 1 ½ cups (360ml) whole milk
  • 1 ½ cups (360ml) whipped cream, homemade or store-bought
  • ¼ cup (60ml) chocolate syrup (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons (25g) granulated sugar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
  • Sprinkles or additional toppings like crushed cookies, mini Oreos, or chocolate chips for garnish

Instructions

  1. Crush 10 Oreos in a plastic bag using a rolling pin into small pieces for layering. Set aside the remaining 10 whole Oreos for blending. (5 minutes)
  2. In a blender, combine 10 whole Oreos, 3 cups vanilla ice cream, 1 ½ cups whole milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 2 tablespoons sugar (if using). Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth and creamy but still thick. Avoid over-blending. (5 minutes)
  3. If making fresh whipped cream, whip 1 ½ cups heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Add a teaspoon of vanilla if desired. Store-bought whipped cream can be used directly. (5 minutes)
  4. Assemble the tower in a mason jar or tall glass: drizzle chocolate syrup inside the glass, pour about ⅓ of the milkshake, add a layer of crushed Oreos, then a dollop of whipped cream. Repeat layering two more times, finishing with whipped cream on top. (10 minutes)
  5. Garnish with more crushed Oreos, mini Oreo pieces, or chocolate chips and drizzle additional chocolate syrup if desired. Serve immediately with a thick straw and long spoon. (2 minutes)
