A quick and easy homemade strawberry lemonade slushie recipe perfect for summer fun, combining fresh strawberries and zesty lemons into a smooth, icy treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • Juice of 3 large lemons (about ½ cup)
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 3 tablespoons honey or agave syrup
  • 3 cups ice cubes
  • Optional: fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse and hull about 1 ½ cups of fresh strawberries. Slice into smaller pieces for easier blending. If using frozen strawberries, add directly without thawing.
  2. Roll lemons on countertop, cut in half, and juice to extract about ½ cup fresh lemon juice. Strain to remove seeds if needed.
  3. Add sliced strawberries, lemon juice, 1 cup cold water, and 3 tablespoons honey or agave syrup into the blender jar.
  4. Pulse blend for 30 seconds to 1 minute until strawberries are fully pureed and mixture is smooth and bright pink.
  5. Add 3 cups ice cubes to the blender. Blend on high speed for 1 to 2 minutes until thick slushie texture is achieved, scraping down sides if necessary.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness by adding more honey or water as needed, then blend briefly again.
  7. Serve immediately in chilled glasses, garnished with fresh mint leaves or a lemon wheel if desired.

Notes

Use frozen strawberries if fresh are not in season. Adjust sweetness to taste. Blend ice last to avoid watery texture. Chill glasses before serving to keep slushie cold longer. If no high-speed blender, pre-crush ice before blending.
