A crisp and refreshing peach sangria made with dry white wine, fresh peaches, and a splash of sparkling water. Perfect for summer gatherings and easy to prepare in under 15 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750 ml) dry, crisp white wine (e.g., Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)
  • 2 ripe peaches, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) peach liqueur (optional)
  • Juice of 1 fresh lemon
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) club soda or sparkling water
  • A small handful fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Ice cubes to serve

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the peaches thoroughly. Slice them thinly, about 1/4 inch thick, removing the pits. Place the slices in a large pitcher.
  2. Add the fresh lemon juice and simple syrup to the peaches. Gently stir to coat the slices. Let them sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes to macerate.
  3. Pour in the chilled bottle of white wine and the peach liqueur. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to chill and allow flavors to meld.
  5. Just before serving, add the club soda or sparkling water for fizz. Stir gently. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the sangria over, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.

Notes

Use a dry white wine like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio to keep the sangria crisp and not overly sweet. Macerate peaches with lemon juice and simple syrup to release natural juices. Add sparkling water just before serving to maintain fizz. For extra cold sangria without dilution, freeze peach slices in ice cube trays and use those instead of regular ice.
