frozen strawberry daiquiri recipe - featured image

A quick and easy 3-ingredient frozen strawberry daiquiri that balances sweet, tart, and boozy flavors, perfect for summer gatherings and backyard hangouts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (150 grams) frozen strawberries
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) white rum (e.g., Bacardi)
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) fresh lime juice (freshly squeezed)
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon (15 ml) simple syrup for sweetness
  • Optional: fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • Optional: 1/2 cup (120 ml) ice cubes for thicker texture

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients: 1 cup frozen strawberries, 2 ounces white rum, and 1 ounce fresh lime juice. Have simple syrup ready if using.
  2. Juice the limes by rolling them on the counter, cutting, and squeezing to get about 1 ounce of fresh juice. Strain if desired.
  3. Add frozen strawberries, white rum, lime juice, and simple syrup (if using) to the blender. Add ice cubes if you want a thicker daiquiri.
  4. Pulse the blender a few times to break down the ice and fruit, then blend on medium speed for 30-45 seconds until smooth but slightly frosty.
  5. Taste and adjust: add more lime juice for zing or simple syrup for sweetness, then blend again for 10 seconds if needed.
  6. Serve immediately in chilled glasses, garnished with a fresh strawberry or mint sprig. Enjoy with a straw.

Notes

Use fresh lime juice for best flavor. Avoid over-blending to keep a slightly chunky, frosty texture. Use white rum, not spiced rum, for a clean taste. Let frozen strawberries thaw 5 minutes if blender struggles. Store leftovers in airtight container in freezer up to 24 hours and re-blend before serving.
