A simple and elegant mimosa bar setup featuring fresh fruit and sparkling wine, perfect for brunch celebrations and easy to customize for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Champagne or Sparkling Wine (brut or extra dry, e.g., Veuve Clicquot or La Marca Prosecco)
  • Fresh Orange Juice (freshly squeezed or high-quality store-bought)
  • Sliced Strawberries
  • Pineapple Chunks
  • Blueberries
  • Raspberries
  • Mandarin Orange Segments
  • Optional Additional Juices: Peach Nectar, Cranberry Juice, Grapefruit Juice
  • Optional Herbs for Garnish: Fresh mint or basil leaves
  • Ice Cubes or Frozen Fruit (e.g., frozen grapes or berries)

Instructions

  1. Chill your champagne or sparkling wine and fresh juices in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before the event.
  2. Wash all fresh fruits thoroughly. Hull and slice strawberries, peel and segment mandarins, cut pineapple into bite-sized chunks, and rinse blueberries and raspberries. Place each fruit type in separate serving bowls.
  3. Arrange champagne flutes or glasses in a neat row. Place pitchers of sparkling wine and juices side by side. Lay out bowls of fresh fruit with small tongs or spoons for easy serving. Add ice cubes or frozen fruit in a separate bowl for guests to chill their drinks.
  4. Scatter fresh mint or basil leaves around the fruit bowls or near the glasses for garnish.
  5. Label each juice and fruit option with small cards or signs to help guests identify them.
  6. Invite guests to mix their own mimosas by starting with a splash of juice, adding fresh fruit to their glass, then topping off with chilled sparkling wine. Encourage gentle stirring to blend flavors without losing bubbles.

Notes

Chill sparkling wine and juices well before serving to keep mimosas crisp and refreshing. Use frozen grapes or berries as natural ice cubes to avoid watering down drinks. Pour sparkling wine slowly down the side of the glass to preserve bubbles. Prepare fruit and juices a day ahead but add sparkling wine just before serving for best fizz. Keep extra bottles of bubbly on hand for refills.
