  • 2 cups crushed Ritz crackers
  • Garlic powder to taste
  • Onion powder to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Optional: chopped parsley or paprika for garnish
  • Optional: cooked bacon bits or diced green onions for extra flavor

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and milk. Stir well until fully combined. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to taste.
  3. Pour the chicken mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix crushed Ritz crackers with melted butter until well-coated.
  5. Sprinkle the cracker mixture evenly over the chicken mixture, covering the entire surface.
  6. Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is bubbling around the edges.
