A tangy, sweet, and savory glaze made with pomegranate molasses, perfect for elevating roasted veggies, grilled meats, and more.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate molasses
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground black pepper
  • 12 tablespoons water
  • Optional: Red chili flakes or fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine 1/4 cup pomegranate molasses, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 tablespoon soy sauce, and 2 minced garlic cloves.
  2. Add a pinch of ground cinnamon and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  3. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. The glaze should thicken slightly.
  5. Remove from heat and taste the glaze. Adjust sweetness or tanginess by adding more honey or a squeeze of lemon juice if desired.
  6. If the glaze seems too thick, stir in 1-2 tablespoons of water to reach your preferred consistency.
  7. Let the glaze cool for a few minutes before using. It will thicken further as it cools.
  8. Brush or drizzle the glaze over your favorite dishes, and enjoy!
