Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt, plain or vanilla (or coconut yogurt for dairy-free option)
  • Strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • Blueberries, whole
  • Kiwi, peeled and chopped
  • Banana, sliced
  • Seasonal fruits such as raspberries, blackberries, or diced mango
  • Granola (honey almond granola recommended)
  • Chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, or pecans)
  • Toasted coconut flakes (optional)
  • Honey or maple syrup (for drizzling)
  • Chia seeds or flaxseeds
  • Dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs
  • Vanilla extract (a few drops, optional)
  • Cinnamon or nutmeg (for sprinkling, optional)

Instructions

  1. If desired, mix a teaspoon of vanilla extract into 2 cups (about 16 fl oz) of Greek yogurt and set aside.
  2. Rinse all fresh fruits under cold water. Hull and slice strawberries, peel and chop kiwi, and slice bananas just before serving to avoid browning.
  3. Lay out a large wooden or serving board or platter.
  4. Place the yogurt in a medium bowl towards the center or one side of the board.
  5. Fill small bowls or ramekins with granola, chopped nuts, toasted coconut flakes, chia seeds, and chocolate chips and arrange them around the yogurt.
  6. Arrange fresh fruits in separate bowls or directly on the board in clusters.
  7. Pour honey or maple syrup into a small container with a spoon for drizzling.
  8. Optionally, scatter cinnamon or nutmeg lightly over the yogurt.
  9. Set out small spoons or tongs for easy grabbing so everyone can build their parfaits.

Notes

Toast nuts and coconut flakes lightly in a dry skillet to enhance aroma and crunch. Slice bananas last to avoid browning and optionally toss in lemon juice. Keep granola separate until serving to maintain crunch. Yogurt and fruit should be kept refrigerated until serving. Customize with seasonal fruits and flavor boosters like vanilla extract or cinnamon. For vegan or dairy-free options, use coconut or almond milk yogurt and vegan granola.
