Ingredients

  • Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • Marinara sauce
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Pepperoni slices
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • Italian seasoning
  • Egg wash (1 egg whisked with a splash of water)
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into 3×3-inch squares using a pizza cutter or sharp knife.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded mozzarella, diced pepperoni, a tablespoon of marinara, and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning. Mix well.
  5. Place a teaspoon of the filling in the center of each dough square.
  6. Fold each square into a triangle, sealing the edges tightly by pressing them together. Use a fork to crimp the edges for extra security.
  7. Brush the tops of the rolls with egg wash and drizzle or brush lightly with olive oil.
  8. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a small gap between each one.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and crispy.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes before serving.
