These crispy maple dijon Brussels sprouts are roasted to perfection with a sweet and tangy glaze, making them an irresistible side dish for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts, halved and outer leaves removed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim off the stems, remove any wilted leaves, and cut each sprout in half for even cooking.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, maple syrup, dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to make the glaze.
  4. Add the Brussels sprouts to the bowl and toss until they’re evenly coated in the glaze.
  5. Arrange the Brussels sprouts in a single layer, cut side down, on the baking sheet.
  6. Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are crispy and caramelized.
  7. Remove from the oven and serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

For maximum crispiness, place Brussels sprouts cut side down on the baking sheet and avoid overcrowding. Adjust the sweetness of the glaze to your preference by adding more dijon mustard or maple syrup.
