These crescent rolls are filled with gooey cream cheese, zesty jalapenos, crispy bacon, and cheddar cheese, wrapped in buttery dough for a quick and irresistible snack or appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 fresh jalapenos, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, chopped (optional)
  • 1 egg, whisked with a splash of water (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapenos, crumbled bacon, garlic powder, and green onions (if using). Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into individual triangles. Place them flat on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of filling onto the widest part of each triangle. Roll them up starting from the wide end, tucking the sides in as you go.
  5. Brush the tops of the rolls with egg wash to help them bake to a golden perfection.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet before serving.

Notes

For less spice, remove seeds and membranes from jalapenos. Use cold crescent dough for easier handling. Prep the filling a day ahead for convenience.
