Creamy Creamsicle Float - featured image

A quick and easy float combining the creamy richness of vanilla ice cream with the bright, fizzy tang of Orange Fanta soda, perfect for a nostalgic and refreshing summer treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 fl oz (355 ml) Orange Fanta soda
  • 23 scoops (about 1 cup / 240 ml) vanilla ice cream
  • Optional: fresh orange slices or orange zest for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill your glass or jar in the fridge for 10-15 minutes to keep the float cooler longer and slow melting.
  2. Place 2-3 generous scoops of vanilla ice cream (about 1 cup) into the chilled glass.
  3. Slowly pour 12 fl oz (355 ml) of Orange Fanta soda over the ice cream to prevent too much fizz and overflow.
  4. Let the float foam and settle for a minute or two, then gently stir with a straw or spoon.
  5. Optionally, garnish with a slice of fresh orange or a sprinkle of orange zest.
  6. Serve immediately while fizzy and creamy.

Notes

Use ice cream straight from the freezer to control foam and fizz. Pour soda slowly down the side of the glass to prevent overflow. For dairy-free version, substitute vanilla ice cream with coconut or almond milk-based frozen dessert. Serve immediately for best fizz and texture.
