  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. If using fresh broccoli, blanch the florets in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then drain and set aside. If using frozen, thaw and drain thoroughly.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. In a 9×13-inch baking dish, layer the cooked chicken and broccoli florets. Pour the creamy sauce evenly over the top and gently mix to coat everything.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the casserole.
  6. In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture over the casserole for a crunchy topping.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  8. Let the casserole rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, toast the breadcrumbs in a skillet with butter before adding to the casserole. Customize the sauce with paprika or lemon juice for added flavor.
