Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 12 oz (340g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 cup (75g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup (67g) brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50g) unsalted butter, cold and diced
  • 1/4 cup (30g) rolled oats

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the flour, sugar, and melted butter for the crust. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined. Pour over the cooled crust and spread evenly.
  4. Toss sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Arrange evenly over the cheesecake layer.
  5. Combine flour, brown sugar, diced butter, and oats for the streusel topping. Blend until crumbly and sprinkle over the apple layer.
  6. Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the streusel is golden and the cheesecake layer is set.
  7. Cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before slicing.
  8. Slice into squares and serve slightly chilled.
