Welcome to HungerMind. These Terms of Service (“Terms,” “Terms of Service”) govern your use of the hungermind.com website (the “Site” or “Service”) operated by HungerMind (“us,” “we,” or “our”).

Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our Site. Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the Service.

The Service and all of its original content, including but not limited to recipes, articles, text, photographs, videos, logos, trademarks, and graphic design (the “Content”), are the exclusive property of HungerMind and its creator, Maya Brizley. The Content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of the United States and foreign countries.

• Permitted Use: You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Content for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You may print recipes for personal use, share links to our Content on social media, or via email, provided that you give full credit and a clear link back to the original content on hungermind.com.
• Restrictions: Except as expressly permitted above, you agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distribute, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publish, adapt, edit, or create derivative works from any Content. Republishing recipes or articles in their entirety is strictly prohibited. If you wish to use our photographs or other content for commercial purposes, you must obtain prior written permission from us.

2. User-Generated Content (Comments)

Our Site allows you to post comments and engage in discussions (“User Contributions”). You are solely responsible for the User Contributions you post on the Site.

• License to Us: By posting any User Contribution on the Site, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, display, modify, and create derivative works of your contribution in connection with the operation of the Service and for our promotional purposes.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including, without limitation, if you breach these Terms. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding related to this Site shall be brought exclusively in a federal or state court of competent jurisdiction sitting in Oregon.
